The aesthetic remains iconic to this day, but due to a saturation of copycats that have emerged over the years, vitaminwater sought the help of brand design agency COLLINS to revamp its livery.

“To do this, we needed to reinvigorate the magic that made them so iconic in the first place,” described the studio.

What the team excavated was vitaminwater’s famous label, “bold tone of voice,” and diverse gamut of flavors. In one word, vitaminwater was all about its vibrancy.

“Vibrancy of personality, expression, and identity—an idea that was natural to their brand and something the world could use a little more of.”

Along with a new splash of vividity, COLLINS has also presented a stunning brand book, which is “part history, part strategy, and part guidelines” that serves as an “exclamation point” to the entire design journey.

Unsurprisingly, the book snagged the top prize for ‘Print communications’ at the Design Week awards this year.
