Handheld devices are now packed with so many features, they have surprisingly created a demand for gadgets with less frills.

Samsung has thus released its Galaxy model in South Korea that’s vastly different from any other in its category—it has no 3G, Wi-Fi, or LTE connectivity. In other words, the World Wide Web is out of reach in this phone.

The ‘J2 Pro’ provides everything you found necessary in a handheld gadget during the pre-iPhone era. To refresh your memory, that means you can make calls, send text messages, and snap photos with it.

The device features a 5-inch qHD AMOLED display, an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front camera. It also runs on a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, has 1.5GB of ram, is juiced with a removable 2,600mAh battery, and contains a MicroSD card slot.

The 2018 remake also rolled out in January in other parts of Asia such as India, Singapore, and Vietnam.
